Past experience has shown us that reliance on judgement
of our graduate brothers brings forth many good Phi Gams. It
is with this in mind that Theta Deuteron once again asks for
your cooperation in finding a pledge class made up of top in
coming freshmen.
You are probably aware of the addition of three new
fraternity houses to Williams Drive, due to be completed for
rush week of 1962. Because of the obvious advantages which
these new houses give to the Sigs, Delts, and Sig Eps, the prob
lem of pledging the best men has grown increasingly more
competitive.
It is for this reason that we are relying upon a system of
securing all available information on good Fiji prospects
through you and other members of the graduate chapter, tf

Fijis Take 11th All-Sport IM Crown
Only Lost Twice
In Lost 13 Years
Theta Deutron won its eleventh all-sport intramural
crown in the last 13 years, beating the second place Phi
Psis. The freshman trophy went to Sigma Chi closely
trailed by the Fiji freshmen.
The 200 point lead, built up during fall and winter
sport programs, dwindled to a mere 47 points this spring,
as the SAEs and Phi Psis put on a strong spring burst
of strength.
The Fijis had romped through the football season winning
all seven of their games and scoring 248 points to an aggregate
•Mi
opponent score of 7. The Purplemen took second in their
volleyball league (6-1) in the fall but came back with a first
in the spring.
The basketball championship also fell to the Fiji team
with a 7-0 record. As school champs, Theta Deutron has won
31 of the last 32 games and has won the last 28 league games
