With the onset of final exams, the Fijis are preparing furiously
for the muddy road that lies ahead.
The "midnight oil" bill should
be at an all time high this month, in spite of the fact that one can
smell wood burning in almost every room in the house.
All are looking forward to the semester break which will last
about a week.
A number of the brothers will be staying at the house
getting it into shape for rushing, which begins the first week of
February.
In previous years rushing has started in September, but
deferred rushing has been put into effect this year on a trial basis,
and we would appreciate any information that you might have in regard
to any member of the Class of 1964.
THANKS
As you can observe by the size of the alumni news in the past
issues the response to our letters is continually growing and we are
better able to present a broader coverage of the whereabouts and doings
of brothers gone by, who should not be forgotten. To this response
we say - thanks, for it is the essence of this newsletter and the force
which continues
to make it useful.
Especially, we would like to thank those faithful brothers, such
as Joe Brown '03, C.C. McWilliams '07, and J. Mason Hotchkiss '10, who
continually send us news concerning alumni they have seen or have
written.
