Things have been pretty busy around here, especially with rush, and I really appreciate While in Washington I was able to spend an afternoon with Ray Jordan. It was really great to see Ray and also visit his home town of Alexandria for the first time. He's working in one of the Smithsonian buildings this summer, and one of his jobs is being ticket taker at one of the exhibits.(that would make him the ticket takee. The first mailings went out on July 1st, and each rushee re ceived a letter from us along with a copy of our rush phamplet that was printed earlier this summer. There were 95 letters sent out in this first mailing, and as we continue to receive new names, we mail them the same material. If you know of someone that is coming to State in the fall, please send me his name and address so that I can put him on the mailing list. I have tried to work in a rush CoRRESPON DANCC • I have received a good bit of correspondance from brothers during the past several weeks. I talked with Tom Halford for the first time a few days ago and everything appears to be going alright up in Michigan. For those of you don't know, several of the men who were selling books up there have come back home for the rest of the summer. Jan Clark-Route 1, Box 105 David Mulholland called several weeks back and he is not working down in New Orleans as originally planned, but is here in Jackson this summer. He wants to go to the Ekklesia. The rush phamplet turned out very well and I think that it will serve it's purpose for Kyle Steward called several days ago and is now working in a wire the coming fall and spring rushes, factory in Pontotoc(you might say he is tied up with his work If you would like a copy.
