LETTER PROM THE PRESIDENT
PIG DINNER INVITATIONS OUT
Por the past two v;eeks things
have heen very busy around the
Phi Gamm house.
Pinal pre
parations are being made on
the Parent's Day scheduled
for March 25 and the Pig

The chapter is also beginning

spring.
Along with these
activities, our basketball
team continues to chalk up
wins that are adding to our
already impressive sports
record(and Softball season
promises to be the best one
everl).
But with all of this
going on the brothers are
finding time to work hard at
their studies and are aiming
to be number one in grades
again this semester.
Spring semester is always a
great time for the fraternity,
as there are parties, baseball
games, concerts, as well as
numerous
other activities.
Our biggest hope is that all
of the Pijis in Mississippi

annual Norris Pig Dinner are
being sent out this weekend

time next week.

Although
dinner is a month add a
half away, all plans have
been finalized and the
brothers arc hoping to make
this the biggest event in the
chapter's short history.
It was discovered this past
week that the Friday night
before the Pig Dinner(April
14) will be the first night
baseball game of the season
For Mississippi State.
The
Bulldogs v/ill be playing
the Ole Miss Rebels, which
will probably be one of the
biggest games of the season.
So make plans to join us on
Fridajr night for a great

HOUSE NEWS
The house has undergone a
great deal of change and
construction this past year
and now has 22 brothers living
in it.
Most of the interior
work has been completed and
this semester's v/ork v\/ill center
around the outside of the
house and the yard.
Plans are being drawn up for
landscaping of the front and
back yards and work to be
done on the patio area between
the tv/o houses.
Most of the
planning is being done by
brother Bryan Graham, a
member of the House Committee.
He is calling for major changes
in some areas of the yard that,
when finished, will give Sigma
Mu the nicest lawn in the
city of Starkville.
will be continued until we
have gone through the entire
list of Fijis in the state.
We hope this will be of help
when you are trying to locate
