Tiicrc is no special consolation •wlicn one reaches an aye
wiien he can't expect to look any fartlier forward than he can
see backward. In fact, some of iis iniglit even he relying too much
on wonder drugs in that contemplation. Anyway, for the sake
of argument make it 60-40 — tliere's still a lot of White Stars
to he seen, a whole firmament of them and a refreshing thought,
with 29 such glittering ones now shining forth at Wilkinson
Lodge.

It is not very often that a freshman has been invited to
put into print the impressions he has of Ohio Wesleyan, especial
ly when he has had the privilege of being here only 10 weeks.
Now there are as many pledges
as the total clrapter in our day.
But, as my 16 year old usually
responds after one of our scholarly
discourses, so what! The Board,
