ma Delta, is one of the outstand
ing fraternity men at OSU and
was chosen by the Council of
Fraternity Presidents to fill the
newly-created position of Presi
dent of the OSU fraternity sys
tem, a job which includes being
chairman of CFP, the job held
last year by James G. Root '57,
Columbus.

was commissioned a lieutenant in
the U.S. Air Force, having served
as a group commander and cadet

ROTC. Bill was president of Ohio
Staters, Inc., last year, and was a
member of Sphinx and Bucket 8C
Dipper. He was a member of
Toastmasters, and Texnikoi, engi
neering honorary, and was secre
urer of Phi Gamma Delta and of

the Student Senate, and a justice
in the Interfraternity Court. He's
a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Romophos. Bucket 8C Dipper and
Sphinx. He was treasurer of the
Industrial Engineers. Initiated by
Phi Gamma Delta in May, 1953,
he was chapter pledge trainer,
member of the rushing committee
for four years, special events
chairman, secretary (1955 - 56),
delegate to the Golden West Ekklesia, representative to the Fiji
Academy, and winner of the Siebert Award as outstanding under
graduate in 1955. "Scrape" main
tained a 2.6 point hour in
industrial engineering.

tee, of which he was chairman.
