There are thro big news items to discuss
Pig Dinner and the Rho Phi Computer.

Pie Dinner this year is on Saturday March 19tn. Mr. Robert
Albin (Missouri '62) will be the featured Buest speaker.
Bob ls an Archnon Councilor and an encrepreneur who started
hls own company after graduatlon from Missouri. He is
commlng from Colorado to speak Eo us. We are confident that
this wi1l.-he an exciting eventnB. Of course all the usual
trimmings will be present such as haPpy hours both before and
after the dinner. A1so, the brothers in the house are looking
for.ward to the annual Pots and Pans bandl Please fill ouf the
attached form and return lt so we know how many w111 be visiting.
The second ltem of note is the proBress of the Computer drive.
Brother Tom Roetker (I,tE '80) ntro is employed by HewLettPackard in San Dlego has lnformed us he can arrange for
us to buy an HP personel computer at -uhE.@tel savings.
As a result, we intend Eo make the purchase wichin Ehe month.
However, to make the purchaser w€ will be borrowing some
money from the House Corporatlon. As you reca1L, they are
extending this Loan for one year at no interest. Sor w€
stt11 need your contributions to finish paying for the machine.
At retreat this year we formally pledged 21 men as pledge
brothers, Their names appear later in this issue. About
10 graduate brothers attended at least part of the retreat
at Turkey Run and several of them were there the wfiole weekend.
Business was conducted by the BCA and the House Corporation.

Saturday started wtth bnrnch. Joint cabinet, conrnittee
chairmen, and pledge classes met and dlscussed baslc dlfferences
and slmilarities beEween tle chapters. Cr:rrent problems
ln each chapter were also discussed and their solutions
evaluated. In the afternoon, Hanover, Rose and ISU jolned
for a foocball game. The evening was spent enjoying the
"Fiji Double Feature" party at the house.
This weekend proved to be a very helpful experlence that
brought both chapters closer together. It was also economlcal
because all expenses for the weekend vrere divided between the
two chapters. We hope thls weekend event wtlL become a, yearly
tradltlon.
