Eellow Alumni,
The I97I-J.972 year will be Joann Mahoney's 25th year cooking
for the chapter. As every undergraduate since 1945 knows, however,
she has been more than just another cook.
Cookie has been the chpater's most important rusher, most suc
cessful party-giver, most hard-working alumni pleasox- aiid generally
our most loyal booster. Despite constantly changing treasurers,
short finances, and chronic lack of help, she has put up with our
rowdiness and complaints, and has still turned out consistently the
best food on the campus. Her 25th anniversary with Chi Chapter is
an opportunity to tell her how^mnch we appreciate what she has done
for us.
Like anything else, this will cost money.
If every alumnus
and undergraduate who has eatem her food gives $1.00, the chapter
can get her something appropriate. $1.00 is not much for four
years of food for each of us.
If you know of anyone who has been more loyal to Chi over the
last 25 years, send him one dollar - if not, send your dollar (more
if you are really grateful) for Cookie's 25th anniversary fund to;
Clifford E. Bowdish

or to the chapter treasurer.
The presentation will be made amid infinite nostalgia and abun
dant good will at Homecoming, 1971 - watch for more announcements
in the next CHI TAMA.
For the Cookie Fund,
