Dear Brothers
It's been a helluva summer so far. You simply wontt believe,Our
eyes when you walk through the front door 4nd see the freshly painted entry
way, the redecorated living room and of course, I can't forgこ t the fighting
Sycamore colors in the dining roo撃 。 Next on the agenda is the kitchen.
upstairs, we have refinished the bathroOm and laid some tile. Those working
the hardest during this ordeal have been brothers Kev■ n Marks, ceOrge Mbore,
Charlie Brown, and none other than our illustrious President, Steve Bair
(COmmOnly kncwn as Yogi)。 Recognition of assistance goes to 3ob Shenberger,
cary Battles, Blll Moncel, Stan Hendricks, Don Koss and Dennis Santceye And
as a personal note, I would like all of the returning brothers to thanlc
Mary Ann Cener f・ 。r the excellent job she did in making draperies. She is
still hard at wOrk making more for other rooms. Helping her were Teresa
Ciese, Kathleen Harlan and Tttm. Future plans are tO carpet and Panel the
upstairs hallway and due to lack of funds we are just 80ing to be able to
paint the kitchen. We had Planned a s240。 00 remodeling job. Maxine would
have loved it!
Bob Harker has had the plumbing redone. So far, when you flush the
toilet you don:t sizzle your you‐ kno""what tfhile taking a shower: Also
he has had the gutteF situation 100ked into. So far they've charged 25
bucks a peelc. Rip off! One 300d, in fact great thing, is that Bob is
pleased with the way the house looks and also for the first time in our
great chapter:s history we have had money to put into the Sinking fundi

Visitors at the house this summer include: Crazy Ceorge Kouris,
Greg Sut, Kevin McCubbin (6 or 7 times), Mac Cochrane, cene Riegle, Mike
Schell, Lloyd Long, Byron Logan, Steve Clingenpeel, Ed Silbaugh, ̀everal
incoming freshmen dom for orientation, 2 squirrels and a bird. Those
undergrads that are in Terre Haute for the rest of the summer are: Jef
Farrel19 Jin Calloway, Charlie Brown, Keven Marks, Ceorge Moore, Steve
Centry, Stan Hendricks and Dennis Arnold. The house phone number is

Accountants of lndianapolis near 56th and Keystone. He and his wife are

Brother Dave Smlth is production supervLsor of I'trTIII-fi| in Terre tlaute.
Yes, he is still married and has one daughter. He wishes the chapter his
best and thinks of us often.
Terry Tillett is teaching typing, accounting, and law at Schulte
nigh sch001 in Terre Haute. He also coaches football, basketball, and
basaball as assistants in all three. Present ly, this summer, he is tending
bar at Simrelllse
Ken Lucas is working for WTH工 radiO. Besides selling advertising
time he has a weeltend radio show. He likes it here in Terre Haute and is
Planning to stay for atthile. He and Barb live in Praireton, Indiana and
have no plans for children in the near future. Ken wishes to be kept in
touch of upcoming events and would like to see us drop the Housing Corp.
