FIJI HAPPENINGS
HOUSE MORTGAGE PAID!!
The advent of the 1975~1976 school yesr has fovmd the FIJIs of Alpha Gamma Chapter
keeping busy with a number of activities. But before we look at some of these, it is imp
ortant to take note of two substantial happenings which occurred at the tail-end of the
I97ZP.I975 school year. These were the election of officers for this year, and the retire
ment of the two mortgages which were taken out upon the initial financing of our chapter
house.
Alpha Gamma Chapter's officers for 1975-6 ares Presiding Officer- Jim Putnam (A-Se
ction), Mike Harting (B-Section); Treasurer- Dave Diedrich, Larry Machacek} Recording
Secretary- Jan Piir.er, Pat Thompson; Corresponding Secretary- Chuck Champion, John Walk
or; Pledgemaster- Chuck Champion, A1 Gheesebroueh; Historian- Paul Day, Bill Magers ;
Rush Chairman- Steve Blood, Mike McCully.
On J\ane 9, 1975 Alpha GaLmma Chapter
retired the two mortgages we had been mak
ing monthly payments on for 17 years. The
bulk of the $700 monthly outlay which was
being used to pay-off these two notes is
being accumulated into a fund which will
be "used for some major hoiise improvements
in the near future.

Last year's festivities were very su

LETTER FROM THE IRESIDENT
The start of the 1975"76 school year

th this, there was a one third cutback in
the rest of the student body cind faculty.
These gloomy statistics have made this ru

battle every man, with every fraternity
fighting for their very existence.
Not all is as bad as it seems, howev

re paid off last June. The only debts re

in a years time. Wo are now trying to
set aside a little money for some long ne

different possible improvements; and we
hope to come up with a good list of prior

\r\nGRADUATE QUESTIONNAIRE
BROTHERS I As you know, the communication between Alpha Samma
Chapter and the Grad Brothers has been far from adequate in recent
yearst Therefore, we are inserting this questionnaire to better
our relationship by learning more about each of you and what you
are doing. Please assist us in our effort, by filling out this
form and returning it to us. Hopefully the next Alpha Gam Fiji
will include many of our graduate responses.
