the conversion of'the basement to
a television, recreation, and dining
room; the replacement of the wood
en basement doors with sliding glass
doors; the carpeting of the living
room and den; and the refurnishing
of the living room by the Mary
McCart}/ Club. Among other house
improvements were the repainting
of the outside trim, the addition
of shutters to the front ^rindo^TS,
and the landscaping of the area

nation to the house, Bryan Graham
contributed his skill to the land
scaping, Chuck T/5May donated the
sliding glass doors, Greg Mann
gave the paint, and Marshall Mowdy
donated a beautiful crest for the
front of the house. The appuaranco
of the house is a source of pride
to the,Brothers, and all graduates

supported by both active brothers

Phi Gamma Delta's 126th
Ekklosia, held August 21-2li in
Atlanta,' was enj oyerl by~'^IneT)rothers of Sigma Mu. Representing
the chapter wore actives Tom Cottorn,
Leigh Hummer, Thomas Mize, Bon
Penn, Porter Robinson, Robert
Siodoll, Kyle Steward, and Bob
Stimson, and graduate brother Grog
The now].y renovated basement
is now a dining room tliroo nights

have been aquirod and the meals are
catered by Kelly's Bakery. Eatin,':;

Sigma Mu scooped up several
awards at the .Skklesia, including
third place in the Brightman
Award, Honorable Momtion in the
archon's Trophy, and Honorable Men
tion in the Baker Cup. The Scholorship Award was presented to the
chapter
for being above the All-
