PARTY
On Saturday, December 15,the
Brothers of Phi Gamma Delta once again made their contribution to the Christ
mas season, carrying on a tradition
established over 35 years ago. They
sponsored a Christmas Party for twenty
underprivileged children from the Flint
area. Preparation for the party began
during A-1 and things really got under
way early section A-2, The children's
names were supplied by the Big Brothers

the purpose of establishing a Board
of Chapter Advisors. The under-
.graduates feel a strong need for
help in areas such as Grad Relations,
Finance, Rush, and Chapter History,
as well as Tradition, It is felt
that a group of Advisors made up
of GMI Graduates and other Graduate
Brothers of various schools can
aid the Chapter in making many key
Decisions.
In attendance were Larry Swan-

On the day of the party the children
were trea>ted to Walt Disney movies, re
freshments, and a magic show by "Dr. Chronos," plus a visit by Santa Claus, alias
Richard Bauer. It was hard to distinguish
the big kids from the little ones as the

the evening was watching the faces of the
children as they opened their presents.
It was indeed a happy time for all, and
the Pijis are proud to have done what
they could.

ies that each of us has experienced, now
and then.
There may be a shortage of fuels
and materials.
Our vast technological
society may be grasping the throats of
men, squelching our attempts to move
ahead. But there is no shortage of love
between brothers in Phi Gamma Delta.
As we look into the bleakness of the
coming years, let us not forget our past
and the common bond we share with our
brothers in this fraternity.

But in the soul resides
that of which there is no
