The era of GMI-Engineering and Man

FAMILY WEEKEND
The weekend of August 21
and 22^^
marked the annual FIJI family week
end.
The activities stkrted Satur
day with a Softball game in which
Michigan once again proved that they
were no match for the rest of the
world.
Later, the brothers served
a massive steak dinner for the fam
ilies.
CHAPTER FINANCE
Our chapter's financial situation
seems stable at the present time.
After planning the 82-83 budget,
houae bills of$90$-t- came out at the
end of July.
The coats of our Rush
parties were, kept low with the help
of Sorority cosponsers and this
should lend
assistance to some of
the tighter areas in the budget.

Our sinking fund, which
was severly depleted in the purchase
of our new roof, is still danger
ously low.
Donations of interest
on house improvement bonds and
donated bonds have been desposited
into the fund.
I would like to
thank all of those who have made
donations recently and encourage
otners to do the same.
As mentioned before, we are also
in need of graduate support in the
form of advice and counseling to
the house in legal affairs, finance,
and house operation in general.
The best way to become involved is
