K, 18th Arkansas Infantry, at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, February 22, 1862; appointed first lieutenant, February 22, 1862; promoted captain, April 3, 1862; captured at Port Hudson, Louisiana, July 9, 1863; confined at U.S. Military Prison, Johnson's Island, Ohio; took oath of allegiance at U.S. Military Prison, Fort Delaware, June 12, 1865."
