Recent infermatioii fren Jeff MacMahan, (127 Popp Ato, Sellersbxirg, IN 1;71721628. 812-2I46-3718) indicates that the Phi Gamma Delta sign for the Fraternity
house has been coi^pleted* Jeff >d.shes to plan a vioric session for August 2li.,
8AM* Should that date be questionable, please call Jeff aa soon as possible.
Jeff also has plans for a flagpole and a new FIJI rode. All he needs is help*
Plan to attend the work session* Notify Jeff* This should be quite a dedicationi
Short Story from Jeff- Concerning the Brothers of Montgomery County and especially
Wareland- regarding their chance for Stardom with the schoel building in V/aTeland*
As it turns out the producers of the morie "Hoosiers" contacted the school board
and town of its intentions to film..* well*.* too late Wareland cleared away for
new construction in front of the old school. Truly a shame.*.Greg Hunt*
To Gene Saylor, Jeff Etter and Darrell Bay from "Mac". Surly you three watched
the lUth Kentucky Deit)y with fond memories of the 102nd Derby. Apparently,
it took the beys 10 hours to get there from Terre Haute* Those were the daysl
Jeff also writes that he and his father attended the opening ef the new HQ for
Phi Gamma Delta* Others in attendance were Don Mighell, Scott Ferrell, Bill
Miller, Doc Growder, John Sheppard and Bob Albin* Your dollars hare helped build
a spectacular headquarters 1
March brought word from John "Wingnut" Alkiro. Ho is back in "Cajun Country"
Baton Rouge, LA, after a two year duty in Houston* "I am with CIT Financial
Sorrices as aDirision Manager* Yes, Brown Dawg, an authority figure*
John informs us that Brother Joe Tiebon is a father (no not a Priest). Ho and
his wife had a little girl last October. "Can you imagine a female Tieben?"
ed* Personally, I got a kick out of John being a Dirision Manager and Tieben
taking care ef the Multiplication endl
"Glad to hear "Old Jack" is doing well* I hope he figures out someday what is
causing all those kids* Hey, Carque, still got your Frisboo? Box, where are
you? I remember one night in the Green Room that several of us weire once dis
cussing a reunion in ten years- Battles, dine, Steuerwald, Carque, and who
Knows how many others*
Well, we missed it*
Anybody want to go for l5 years?
Die Wingnut sent a small contribution and would hare sent more but he sent all
his bucks to Al Saeharew and lost his tail* He invested in toilet paper for dogs,
but the dogs ato it and licked* ed* C'mcn John, dogs are Al's best friendsare you sure that wasn't toilet paper for SAE's? ©

liy compliments to the undergrad chapter fex, a jwo!lA__d»ne--S^amore FIJI
newsletter- although it seems ray postman was sTTittle late in delivering
it.
My December issue finally made it in MarchV
Better late than neverl
I have received no news since- including Pig Dinner weekend festivities.
I am puzzled.
A recent visit from Terry Tillett '73 to Grand Rapids made for quite a night.
He and two fellow teachers from Tipton, IN tipped a few brewskies with ne in
time Phi Gam spirit. Thanks again, Terry.
This issue, our twentieth, shall end my volunteer work as President, Secretary,
Chief type and ribbon winder of the ISGA Newsletter. I shall remain treasurer
until I hear ^ren another Phi Gam grad interested in centinxiing our unique line
of communication.
We are. in need ef new bleed in the newsletter.
Volunteers
should express your ^tentiens directly to na should you wish to accept this
high honor. Papei*work will be forwarded promptly. My thanks to the h5 meid>ers
who helped make a dream come true I
My life has changed somewhat. My spouse and I have decided to go our separate
ways. She and the boys have chosen to live elsewhere in the city. I still
have my house, decent furniture, a geod job and friends I can count on. CJ's
soimd system continues to pump music into the hearts and minds of pai*ty people.
We've become professionalsj learning the ropes of a small prosperous business}
with just rewards being thankyou's and repeat performances. I'd do it all for
free if there ever was a way.
To the gal I spent a lot of time with in college, I say, "The Search Is Over,"
by Survivor.
To all you Phi Gams, I say, "Here's To Dear Die Delta...."
