PHI GAM HONORED AT BASKETBALL GAME
A number
of Purdue's
finest athletes were honored recently
on the court of Mackey Arena during the halftime of the Purdue
vs. Wisconsin men's basketball game. Among these outstanding
athletes was brother Nick Deets '89. Nick was honored for being
named
Academic
All
Big
Ten
in
golf.
Nick has been a Purdue
varsity golfer since his Freshman year, yet still
finds the time
to deal with his class load at an outstanding level.

TWO FIJIS EARN IFC SCHOLARSHIPS
At the last meeting of the Interfraternity Council of Purdue
two of our Lambda Iota brothers, Scott Sorensen '89 and Peter
Kingma '89, were awarded scholarships. The IFC scholarships are
based on involvement on campus and in the community,^ and are
■^iven to a deserving Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. bcott was
awarded the scholarship as the outstanding Senior, and Peter as
the outstanding Junior on campus.
We are extremely proud of
Scott and Pete's accomplishments and the excellence of which Phi
Gamma Delta continues to stand for.
