TRADITION
CONTINUES
On
Monday,
January
11,
1988,
the Fiji brothers ventured
across Russell Street to our sister sorority. Kappa
Alpha Theta,
to sing
to them and their new pledges.
Later that evening, they
returned the favor by coming over
to introduce
their new pledge
class.
The tradition continued on the next night as the Phi Gam
pledges made a trip
back over
to Theta's
to 'kiss
in' the new
pledges.
Congratulations to
the women of Kappa Alpha Theta for
another fine pledge class.

The brothers
returned
from a
restful
Christmas
break
to
find
new curtains and blinds in the common areas of the chapter house.
The new curtains and blinds were one of many surprises
acquired
through the proceeds from the successful Mother's Club Auction of
last

fall.

For the second
year
in
a
row,
one
of
our
pledges was
seriously injured
over the
Christmas Holidays.
Kevin Hough was
struck by a
car
while
attempting
to
cross
a
busy, downtown
Chicago street
this past
December.

It has been almost three weeks since the accident, but
all we can do is patiently wait and pray for good news and make
ourselves available

Kevin
has been in a
drug induced coma and has had surgery once.

beginning to look up, although it is a slow process.
