PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF
AT NU BETA
The chapter waited patiently for the day they would again
inhabit a house. The past three years have been ones of intense
struggle, with all brothers sacrificing much to keep the FIJI
tradition alive at Rutgers. Living off-campus, small social
events, lack of a campus wide reputation and intense competi
tion for pledges are some of the tribulations the chapter had to
overcome. But all the while the chapter stayed proud and
together.
Chapter Moves Into New House
WITH RECRUITMENT
The Rutgers Greek System has been ex
periencing a downturn in interest and
membership among the general student
body. However, this comes at a time when
the chapter needs to and is ready for expan
sion. Although the thirty-five members we
currently have strive to make us the best at
everything we do, a larger brotherhood
would make us more competitive at social
and Keller events. The chapter has not
received much assistance from alumni with

PIG DINNER - April 22,1995 5pm
EXPECTED TO BE BEST ATTENDED IN PAST DECADE-
The new house
has rekindled considerable alumni interest in the chapter. Graduates have been stopping by after Rutgers
Football games or work, and have been writing to the chapter and requesting more alumni events. Pig Dinner
will be the culmination of a year's hard work and success and the rightful return of Nu Beta to a house.
Pig Dinner is a great opportunity for alumni to help out the chapter. We are looking for graduates who
will assist in contacting brothers from their year of graduation. Please send us a note if you are willing to do
—SO and we can provide phone numbers and addresses for you. But no matter what your level of participation.
put this date into your calendar now and plan on attending.
