The past three years have been ones of intense struggle, with all brothers sacrificing much to keep the FIJI tradition alive at Rutgers. Living off-campus, small social events, lack of a campus wide reputation and intense competi tion for pledges are some of the tribulations the chapter had to overcome. But all the while the chapter stayed proud and together. Chapter Moves Into New House WITH RECRUITMENT The Rutgers Greek System has been ex periencing a downturn in interest and membership among the general student body. However, this comes at a time when the chapter needs to and is ready for expan sion. Although the thirty-five members we currently have strive to make us the best at everything we do, a larger brotherhood would make us more competitive at social and Keller events. O CD \r\nI SOCIAL KELLER COMMUNITY SERVICE FIJI is currently in 2nd Place Overall in the Keller Cup. We suffered our first Football loss in 3 years and placed 2nd in Football. FIJI runners plaeed 4tb, 5tb & 6tb in Cross Country to win us that sport. Upcoming events which we are slated to filled with successful events this semester. FIJI Fest was held on October 1st & 2nd well in are Basketball, Indoor Soccer & Volleyball, which we are the defending for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Rut champs of. Football -2nd Place Soccer - 4th Place Cross Country - 1st Place 2nd Place Overall With the use of a bigger house and better location, FIJI'S social calendar was and packed in over 600 people on Friday night alone. The sale of cups raised $300 gers showed off its new stadium at Home coming and FIJI celebrated with a huge tailgate outside. Graduate brothers then came back to the house for our party that night. Halloween weekend included a huge costume party and the semester was jammed with mixers and late nights.
