The Xi Deuteron Potpourri
Chapter President's
Report
The new year has brought excitement for
the brothers of Xi Deuteron Chapter. We
too have made resolutions, the most
important of which is to build upon our
past successes and improve for the future.
These are tasks which we have undertaken
with great enthusiasm and vengeance.
Thanks to an aggressive and successful
rush, we eirenow 52 members strong. In
fact we pledged almost ten percent of all
Spring pledges for all fraternities. Rush
and Pledge Education and Retention
continue to be our strongest aspects. Last
year we won four President's Cup awards;
Chapter Management, Rush Excellence,
Alumni Programming and Pledge
Education and Retention. Once again the
overall President's Cup eluded us, but this
year part of our mission to win it.
Although we take pride in our awards,
we take even more in the increased
involvement of the brothers on campus.
We now have representatives on the
Executive Board of IFC; USG officers; a
delegate on the University Judicial Board;
members in the national service fraternity;
varsity athletes in track, baseball and
wrestling; stnd many other organizations.
We have already done more hours of
coiiunimity service than all of last yeeu:, and
we are sure that this trend will continue.
The brothers and I invite you to come
and see all of this for yourselves. You are
always welcome to stop by and become
reacquainted with your old chapter. One
thing that has never changed is the notion
of Illustrious Hospitality.

rebuilding the balustrade on the front porch
