Lambda Nu honored Connie, and her husband Charles,
for her 16 years of service at a reception on December 11,
Connie recalls being anxious on her first day. "1 didn't

Since Connie began her work at the FIJI house, more than
270 FlJls have been part of her life. All of them have been
impacted by Connie and they, in turn, affected her. Having
no idea of what fraternity men were like, she said she was
pleasantly surprised at what "nice, polite young men" the
fraternity has had over the years. One of her best memories
was shortly after her husband's heart attack when the
undergraduates went together to purchase Garth Brooks

herself and her husband."If 1 don't want to get up,1 won't,"
she stated. She also plans to drive her husband Charles nuts
with her never ending 'honey-do' list.
Connie started her retirement by using the money donated
by the Graduate Brothers for a 10-day trip to parts of the
country she had only dreamed of seeing. During Connie
und Charles' February travel, they visited Graceland in
Memphis,TN,spent several days in New Orleans, LA,and
toured the civil war battlefields in Vicksburg, MS. Connie
says "thank you to everyone who thought of me".
Connie would love to hear from you. Connie can be reached
