Purple Legionnaire
We’re excited to
announce that in
the fall of 2016
the chapter got
the highest GPA in
its history since its
colonization.
We also received
the highest
pledge class GPA
in the chapter’s
history which was
a 3.13.
The chapter is proud to announce that Kirby Willis (Central Arkansas
2013) will now serve the chapter as Purple Legionnaire. Since
becoming the Purple Legionnaire he has attended FIJI Academy with
undergraduate brothers, worked with other graduate brothers to form
the Board of Chapter Advisors, and has been representing the chapter
on many fronts within the UCA campus.

Not for college
days alone!
Congratulations to our newest graduate brother,
Bryson Betz, who graduated with a degree in
marketing a semester early. Bryson was a great asset to
the chapter with having a variety of leadership roles
including serving as Historian for two consecutive
terms.

1st Annual Frank Norris Pig Dinner
The chapter will be hosting its first annual
Frank Norris Pig Dinner on April 22, 2017.
Invitations for RSVP will be sent out in the
coming weeks. We hope that you would all
come and celebrate the longest greek lettered
fraternity tradition in North America with us.
1848 Club
The chapter is starting the “1848 Club”,
essentially it’s a way for graduate brothers to give
back to the fraternity. Membership in the club
includes admittance cost into the annual Frank
Norris Pig Dinner, semesterly events that will aim
in engaging graduate brothers with
undergraduates, and cost of chapter google
accounts that can be used to stay updated with
chapter calendar, receive chapter emails, and
have google hangouts to keep in touch with other
graduates. The cost of the club is $18.48 per month, and those funds will be used to support
the events held for graduate brothers and establish a fund that will assure a stable financial
situation and save funds for a variety of projects including a chapter house in the future.
Fiji Sweetheart
“I love Fiji because they truly are the gentleman of campus. They
always have kind hearts, from helping someone with disabilities
achieve her dreams, to getting people to be bone marrow donors.
The men of Fiji are always working to better themselves, always
fun to be around, and welcome differences with open arms. I
believe they are the best brotherhood on campus, and I’m honored
to be recognized by such outstanding men.”
