He is Chairman and CEO of the Neenan Company, a development, architectural and construction firm, headquartered in Ft. Collins, Colorado, with an annual sales volume of $180 million. The company designs and constructs office, medical, industrial and high technology buildings. He has owned the company since 1973.
David was a founder of Foothills National Bank of Colorado and former president of the Fort Collins School Board as well as The Associated Contractors of Northern Colorado. He has served on the Board of Intrawest Bank and the Chamber of Commerce of Fort Collins, and several other manufacturing and industrial companies. David was "Entrepreneur of the Year" for Ft. Collins in 1994. The Neenan Company was named Colorado Business of the Year in 1995. David and his wife, Sharon, received the "Hope Award" for Ft. Collins in 1998, for their community service.
Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. David is a "cum laude" graduate of the University of Missouri. He and his wife reside in Ft. Collins with the youngest of their four daughters.
