March 27,1985, Tribune Star newspaper article - Rho Phi chapter helps with Designer Showhouse - a charity associated with Union hospital. The Designed Show House was a biennial charity in which a home was "borrowed" from a family and redecorated by various decorating companies in Terre Haute, indiana. Admission was charged to tour the home. The Rho Phi chapter house was the first Designed Show House in 1974 and the chapter assisted with nearly every Show House until the event ceased.
