2017 Removal of Iowa State University Charter from Storage Tube
On December 19, 1922, the charter of the Alpha Iota chapter at Iowa State University was placed into a wax protected storage tube and deposited into a safe deposit box at a local bank. The charter was there until March 20, 2017 when it was opened at an Archives Weekend at the International Headquarters of Phi Gamma Delta. The charter was in perfect condition. This letter was with the charter.
