1967 Fall Newsletter Pi Iota (Worcester Polytechnic Institute)
OF
SPECIAL
INTEREST
Pi Iota was above the all-men's average (2.46) first semester with
a 2.51 Q.P.A.
This placed us third on campus scholastically,
We tried
hard again second semester and we'll let you know how we did in the
next
issue.
Junior Prom weekend this year included a "chariot race" with tro
phies given for the fastest and for the most original chariots.
Pi Iota
won the originality prize with a bamboo chariot driven by a spear-wielding
chief and drawn by four husky Fiji men (grass skirts and all).
