Dinner In this issue of the Alpha Omichronicle, we Formal hope to provide updates from these Late Night events that show the continuous push to keep our values at the forefront of what we Learning represent. Archives - Frank Schultz Weekend PHI GAMMA DELTA BUILDING COURAGEOUS LEADERS Spring Break Page 1 Greek Family March started strong the first weekend with an amazing event led Olympics by our brotherhood chair lan Heim! Brothers were split into two teams based on their family lineages of mentors and mentees. This resulted in two distinct family branches: the Akron branch and the Evansville A branch. Brothers participated in FIJI different events starting with a banner 1986 painting competition, followed by an egg toss, Mario Kart tournament, tug of war, root beer chug, and finished with a pie eating competition. In the Brothers participating in the Greek Family Olympics end, the Evansville branch won. The pose with their branch banners. event ended as a total success and we look forward to continuing this success in the years to come! - Frank Schultz The second week of March we had NFCDA Dinner our Not For College Days Alone Dinner, run by our Graduate Relations chair, Adam Weidmann! Undergraduate and graduate brothers alike had a great time together eating good food and getting to know one another. Graduate brothers got to tell stories of the past, reminiscing about all the good times that Phi Gamma Delta has given them throughout college and Brothers at Lock 15 Brewery enjoying dinner with how they still live up to the values some of the grads! every day. The brothers and their dates had an amazing time, with humorous chapter superlatives and the opportunity to make lasting memories. Our returning Social chair, Zane Weagraff, planned and organized this event. Needless to say, he did an outstanding job! We had guest speakers like Steph Kelly, a professional career coach, and Thank you! College of Business Dean R.J. Nemer come in and talk to students, AKRON FIJI imparting knowledge on how to be better professionals. We are looking forward to this coming fall, where we plan to have Brothers with Dean Nemer after he spoke about more Late Night Learning Events! networking. - Pat Kelly PHI GAMMA DELTA BUILDING COURAGEOUS LEADERS Page 3 Archives Weekend At the beginning of spring break, many of our brothers had the opportunity to travel to our PHI GAMMA DELTA International Headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky for Archives Weekend! This annual volunteer- based event aims to help the fraternity document and preserve its history. Brothers had the chance to tour the museum of Phi Gamma Delta's history and even got to see documents from when Alpha Omicron Brothers from the Alpha Omicron chapter pose in- front of our International Headquarters in was just a colony! Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to the archival work, brothers had the chance to explore Lexington and even got to meet brothers from the University of Kentucky! - Merlin Farnham While some of our brothers were in Kentucky, others traveled to Spring Break Panama City Beach, Florida where they spent the week relaxing on the beach with each other! The brothers said that they had a phenomenal time and enjoyed the experience and the brotherhood during the week. - Frank Schultz Brothers spent the week at PCB during Spring Break.
