Presidents Message:
Brothers
would like to introduce myself as the newly elected president I an blessed and
honored to lead this group of amazing young men as NO thrive to become better
individuals for the world of tomorrow Last year didn't expect - to be in this
position hot through the pledging process I learned how to become . courageous leader,
it has helped me built my character and I know that wouldn't have had this
opportunity anywhere else Togive you all an incite about myself 1 am . sophomore
pursuing . double major in Chemistry and Business . Management I im from Buffalo
Grove, IL and attended Adlai E Stevenson High School I an on the Men's Basketball
team and am also 3 representative on the Student Athlete Advisor Committee During
my free time, I love to play and watch baskethall an watch mender. play-rideo games
and just hang out with my brothers I an interested in health exercise, mutrition and I
de allow of research on these topics during my free time am excited to see how much

During Mental Health Awareness week, the Gamma Deuteron Chapter
was proud to work at the "Nine out of Ten" table for Knox College's
Fresh Check Day which is hosted by the Counseling Center. One in ten
college students contemplate suicide every year All of the brothers
pledged to be the one of the nine that can help prevent someONE from
commiting suicide.

These four brothers were able to help out in the community through
the Ancient Farming Techniques class here at Knox College The
brothers had a hands-on experience at the Knox Farm in which they
were able to help and serve the community, while also learning and
having fun!

In November Knox College celebrated Fall Service Day which provides
students on campus the opportunity to participate in community
service events that help local agencies in Galesburg This year, the
brothers were selected to help out at the Galesburg Youth Athletic Club
by setting up new equipment for their young boxers

This February, eleven brothers volunteered to shave their heads for the
St. Baldrick's Foundation The Chapter had an initial fundraising goal
of $1,200. We are proud to share that the goal was surpassed by more
than twice that amount - the chapter raised $3,322 This could not
have happened without the help from our alumni, friends and family

Family Weekend
This past fall term FIII brothers celebrated Knox College's Friends and
Family weekend with their own brother's friends and families FIII
families met and spent time together during a grill out hosted by the
chapter
