Founding Date

The Mu Alpha chapter at West Virginia University chartered on January 19, 1974. The chapter ceased on January 26, 2013. The chapter was re-chartered on April 12, 2014. The chapter ceased in April 2018.  The Provisional Chapter was restarted during the 2023-2024 academic year.  The chapter is located in Morgantown, West Virginia. 

The 2014 Chartering Team included: Ritual Supervisor: J. B. Goll (Nebraska 2001); Chapter President: J. B. Goll (Nebraska 2001); Chapter Treasurer: Christopher A. Willis (West Virginia 2005); Recording Secretary: Brain M. Lemme (West Virginia 2003); Corresponding Secretary: Sean D. Esswein (West Virginia 2009); and Chapter Historian: Julian M. Carvalho (West Virginia 2008).

The Director was Adam J. Wagner (Ohio State 2013).
