The Upsilon Phi chapter was chartered on June 28, 1940, at University of Flordia. It ceased on May 1, 1995. It recharter on March 16, 2002. Two years later the chapter ceased in August 2004. The chapter was then revived on October 19, 2006. The chapter is currently a Provisional Chapter, reestablished in the spring 2025 semester. The chapter is located in Gainesville, Florida.
