1959 December Newsletter Chi (Union College)
I TAMA
/ MEMS LETTER
Arthur B, Beck, Editor
December 15, 1959
The response to our pleas for news was most gratifying. However, we have
heard from only about ten percent of those receiving the Chi Tama. Many of these
interested alumni have corresponded with us in the past and though we appreciate
their efforts, we would especially like to hear from those of you who have long
since lost contact with Fijiland, At the present time we have a backlog of
information but to continue monthly publication, we shall need a constant supply
upon which to draw. Begin the New Year on the right foot, and support YOUR
fraternity.
CHAPTER NEWS
As Christmas approaches, the brothers are anxiously awaiting vacation so they
may take leave of our beloved but oft-times drafty Chapter House. The pledges
endeavored to make the remaining days pleasant with a Christmas party gaining the
wholehearted approval of the brothers. The Fijis also entertained a group of
orphans at an afternoon Christmas gathering.
Upon returning to school in January, we shall ®ake a concentrated effort to
find a Purple Legionnaire, A most appreciative group of Fijis will be more than
wiling to work with anyone interested in this arduous task.
