Lambda chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta is ninety-seven years old.
that is something of which we can be very proud.
Indeed
Some of our fathers, even our grandfathers, are
members of the same fraternal bond at the same university.
It is wonderful that Lambda is ninety-
seven, but our one hw.dredth year is the one to work for and anticipate.
Perhaps you are a little surprised at the new type of Tiger Fiji.
Its purpose is twofold:
to acquaint the alUJmi with the doings of the undergraduate chapter in a more impressive manner so
that they are well informed before 1956, and to
members of the house.

Early in September the Lambda
cannibal tribe went frog hmt1ng. The catch was fairly
large and promising - f'our
Rector Scholars, two f'ootball
players 1 two basketball players,
a pitcher f'or the baseball team 1
lots of intramural athletes 1
and three musicians. The next
step was to mold them into congenial Fijis 1 ready to takB oontrol of the hut 1n three years
and rm it in the most prosperous and efficient manner. It
didn't take long for the Frogs
to become submerged in pledge
training and the grind
