Weekend,
On. Friday night, Octoher 30, they rocked to the music
of the Saints and Sinners at Alumni Gj^mnasium,
On Saturday
night Josh V/hite gave a folk concert in Femorial Chapel,

Coronados augmented the Fiji hospitality with some fine party
music, so the party at the Phi Gam house v/as outstanding, as
usua.l,
Som.e of the "brothers came up with a. novel idea on the
Thursday night "before Fall Weekend,
They decided to ta„r and
feather the Idol for the upcoming socia.l event.
Needless to
say, the faloled lion was a mess L\rhen the job wa.s done.
We'd

The Fiji volleyball and badminton teams are off to good
sta^rts with 1-0 and 2-0 slates respectively,
Prothers Gas-
sedy, Nicolay, Smith, and Oak v/ill be formidable opponents
for any other bahminton teajn in the lea.gue.
The volleyball
team is short on experience but there r.re plenty of players
who are willing to support the team.

We forgot to mention in our previous two issues of the
newsletter that Brother Gera.ld Weigel ('65) was married on
June 13 to Carol Nyers of Pleischmanns, Nev; York.
Jerry is
an Economics major and Carol is a medical secretary for a
group of surgeons in Albany,

The editor v/ould like to urge all the aJ.umni to send any
informa.tion that they may have concerning their gradua.te bro
thers,
There is no other v;ay in which we can find out what's
happening among our widespread alumni except through their
letters.
If we receive no letters, the Alumni News section
of the Chi Tama is worthless.
The Chi Taraa is primarily en
alumni publication so it seems sillj'- to fill its pages with
undergraduate news.

Brother GORDOIT EEIBOLD and his wife are the proud par
ents of a baby girl, Kiro, Michelle Reinold, who v/as born on
October 21st and weighed six pounds, three ounces.
Two weeks prior to this, the stork risited brother
JOHR BEFiGEROlI and his wife, Carol.
They too were blessed with
a daughter, whom they chose to name Pamela Maude.
Brother ¥ILLIAM M/fRTIR, better Icnown as "Plash", is tra
veling across the country to take b. first-hand look at these
United Sta,teB.
He reports that he has been fascinated by
his s.drentures, eJ-thcugh he has not yet crossed the Mississ
ippi.

Brother KBIT STOilE, v/ho is a Second Lieutenant in the
Air Porce and is stationed in Texa.s, will be heading north
soon.
He hopes to stop here in Schenecta^dy on the Sunday
after Thanksgiving.
