ROBERT N. WHITACRE
Robert Neal Whitacre has been
chosen to head this year’s cabinet
after a year of hard service as
recording secretary. Bob, a jun-
ior majoring in marketing mana-
gement, hopes to complete a
M.B.A. program and to continue
into the business world upon grad-
uation. Hailing from Indianapo-
lis, he has been extremely active
in both campus and chapter activ-
ities. He is a member of the Me-
morial Union Board of Directors,
I.U. Foundation, Blue Key honor:
ary, and Young Republicans.
‘Whit’ was elected outstanding
pledge as a freshman and was the
recipient of the K.P. Williams
Army ROTC award last year.
Topping off these achievements,
Bob studied his way to the dean’s
list last semester.

cabinet can tap Zeta’s talent to
further Fiji leadership positions
on campus and thus strengthen
the fraternity system as a whole.
MELVIN C. BREWER
The new house tresaurer is Mel-
vin Charles Brewer, a marketing
major from Evansville. Mel has
demonstrated his outgoing person-
ality and leadership qualities in
the house while serving as social
chairman, kitchen steward, and
past president of his pledge class.
‘Brey a junior and is active in
the Marketing Club, YMCA, and
Action Party.
GERALD E. NICHOLSON
Gerald Edward Nicholson is the
newly elected corresponding sec-

In the fall Jerry took over the
difficult job of pledge trainer, but
again the results of his efforts
were excelled only by the enthus-
iasm with which he carried them
out.
JOHN F. FLORETTA
The only sophomore member of
the cabinet this semester is John
Frank Floretta who will be serv-
ing as recording secretary. John
resides in Richmond, Indiana, and
is majoring in marketing here at
LU., hoping some day to enter
law school. ‘Flo’ has served well
as Baker Cup chairman, past presi-
dent of his pledge class, and mem-
ber of Junior IFC. He is
hard to produce results from the
house committee structure and his
rare organizational abilities are
already apparent.
