LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
FIJI NEWSLETTER
As the new year begins, Sigma Mu
chapter finds many new changes
The FijJi Newsletter is a new
surrounding it, A new set of
officers, a revised committee
system, and a new chapter room
to all of the graduates of Sigma
for meetings are all promising
a bright year ahead,
a full
semester of activities is al
piiblication that will be sent

the Graduate Correspondance
Committee twice a month to keep

such events as the Norris Pig
Dinner in April, a Parents Day
for the partnts of all Sigma Mu.

supplement to our regular pub
lication, the BULLDOG FIJI,
which is distributed approxi
mately three times during the
Fijis, and an open house for
the people of Starkville and the
Mississippi State faculty.
A new committee system was de
veloped and put into effect at
the start of this semester and
will hopefully increase the
activities of the chapter, as
well as increase participation
by more of the brothers in the
chapter. Several new committees
were added, such as the Graduate
school year.
Since the chapter is not at a
stage where it can afford
postage on this extra pub
lication twice a month, we ask
that if you would like to con
tinue reoieving the Fiji News
letter, please send 50 cents
along with your name, address,
and telephone number toj

11 with a rush party at the
house.

was present for the party and
remarks were made concerning
the overall good quality of .the
