Fiji's 40th a Fantastic Function
Forty years after the inhabitants of 348 NW 25th left the
hallowed halls, all 35 of the same brothers rallied in June for an
outstanding reunion. Brother Mo (Bob Morrison) invited 55 of
the Fijis living in the house in the spring of 1941 to gather at his
home for an afternoon and evening of reminiscing and
partying. With the wives providing an excellent potluck dinner,
and with Jim Morrison(KO'84)and his brother Dave tending the
bar, a great experience in Fiji brotherhood was thoroughly
enjoyed by all. The following brothers from the classes of 194144 attended:

college days alone. It's a unique "privilege" — just ask any of
the forty-year group that attended. — Bob Morrison, '43

Winter term for Phi Gamma Delta means a multitude of
hosting the weekend event on February 1 3 and 14 with over 60
brothers traveling to Corvallis from Washington, Idaho, and
Canada.
There were many highlights throughout the weekend with
involvement from the fraternity's executive director. Bill Zerman.
One of our field secretaries, Eugene "Buddy" Cote, also served
to odd to the "international flavor." OSU's Dean of Students, Bill
Brennon, gave his support to the convention as he opened the
morning session with a talk on public relations. Meetings
continued on throughout the day with Section Chief Donald T.
McKay delivering an inspirational talk on "Rush — the Lifeblood
Baucke (Moses Lake) phoned to talk to all the brothers. Letters
of the Fraternity." Also getting in on the action were former KO
treasurers Scott Ashdown ('81) and Paul Harvey ('81), who
coordinated a discussion on chapter finances. Appreciation is
extended to Purple Legionnaire Neil D'Autremont ('77) and
Board of Chapter Advisors Chairman Tim Hornecker ('78) for
from Binford, Weibel, Bates, Hoover, Graham, Bnsbm, Olsen,
their involvement as discussion leaders.
It was sad to learn that Bill Howard had gone ad astro in
