CHI PLEDGES 1811
In the most Successful rushing period in several years Ch.i added
18 outstanding freshmen to its list of pledges. This marks one of the
largest pledge classes in recent Chi history and should add strength to the
house both in academic and athletic pursuits and the house finances.
The
pledges are as follows:
Louis Bruhn - Kingston, N.Y.
Mike Champ - Wantagh, N.Y.
Dick Coulter - Homer, N.Y.
Jim Duers - Glens Falls, N.Y.
Mike Greenwood - Scarsdale, N.Y.
Arnold Holden - Lima, Peru
Mike Holowaty - Mohawk, N.Y.
Dick Johnson - Latham, N.Y.
Jim Lawrence - Riverhead, N.Y.
John McCartney - Hicksville, N.Y.
Dave McClemmens - Somerset, Pa,

Frank Seidlich - Baltimore, Maryland
John Sepples - Litchfield, Conn.
Ron Sontag - Ellenville, N.Y.
Joel Stevens - Cape Elizabeth, Maine
Ken Stone - Brattlebor9, Vt.
Eric Toder - Little Neck, N.Y.
Fiji pledges dominate many freshman activities, Two outstanding
Members are John Sepples and Mike Holowaty, stars of the freshman ti-ack
and basketball teams respectively.
This issue of Chi Tama is several days late in order that the results
of rushing and the names of the pledges might be announed.
NORRIS PIG DINNER
Because deferred rushing will delay initiation of new pledges until
next fall, it has been decided to change the usual time of the Norris Pig
Dinner from the spring until the early part of next fall. The date for
the dinner will be announced later in the year and it is hoped that the
usual large attendance will continue as in the past.
THANKS
To Brothers Tiit Maekask, '60 and Robert Sanford, '54 for their
contributions to the chapter.
