GRADUATE BROTHERS REPORT
John Thomas, Bob Barton, Ken Thomas, and
Ron Moehler represented the Gamma Phi
Chapter at this year's Fiji Academy at the
University of Indiana.

PIG DINNER REPORT
Gamma Phi aliomii were in fine spirits this
Fall for the Norris Pig Dinner — Homecoming
Weekend.
After an afternoon of watching
superior eastern football (we overpowered
West Virginia 21-14) and lively socializing^
the brothers retired to the Nittany Lion Inn
for the annual Pig Dinner. We were fortu
nate in having as our guest speaker Victor
S. Kamber^ a Fiji from the University of
Illinois and former president of their
I.F.C.
Mr. Kamber came recommended as an
exceptionally fine speaker^ and we quickly
felt his enthusiasm for the future of Phi
Gamma Delta.
Also at the Pig Dinner^ Gamma Phi honored
its outstanding graduate and undergraduate
brothers. Toby Frymire modestly accepted
the Outstanding Senior Award. Bob Vukmer
was unable to be on hand to receive the
Ron Thompson: U.S. Air Force.
Bill Schraeder: in the Philippines
for the U.S. Navy.
Jim Davies: back in law school at
Rutgers.
Pete Whitten: working on master's de
gree at Temple University.
Rocky McClure:
Atlanta, Ga.
Don Graef:
Dave Clark: recently out of the Navy,
now job hunting in Reading, Pa.
Cal Burghart: working on Ph.D. (Nuclear
Physics) at the University of Tenn.
John First: now living in Portland,
Oregon.

Bob Cole "63" and Jack Smith "66" are
now stationed with American troops in
Vietnam. Bob, serving his second tour of
duty in Vietnam, is a jet pilot for the
U.S. Navy and Jack is a field observer for
the Marines.

The enclosed issue of the Nittany Fiji gives you information about the
present status of the chapter, and our need for large and promising
pledge classes.
This is to add my personal request that you do everything in your power
to help us insure for Phi Gamma Delta a successful rushing season.
As we have pointed out to you before, it is almost essential, under
present rushing conditions, that we learn the names of our prospective
pledges early enough to permit us to meet them during formal rush.
