THE ANNUAL STAG FIJI SMOKER
with the Xi Deuteron Chapter at
Case Western Reserve University
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 1972 - 6:00 p.m.
The Annual Stag Fiji Smoker with the Xi Deuteron Chapter at Case Western
Reserve University will be held on Thursday, November 16, 1972. This gala event will
again be held in the Carriage House at the Xi Deuteron Chapter, 11317 Bellflower Road.
The social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. A roast beef dinner will be served
at 6:45 p.m. After dinner the Graduate Chapter will have the Annual Election of officers
and a summary report of the year's activities. However, we promise no long speeches I
After the report session, we will continue the social hour—for the card players, there
will be cards; for the singers, there will be a song fest; for all "of us, there will be
fine fellowship with brothers of the Cleveland Graduate Chapter and the Reserve Under
graduate Chapter.
Plan now to attend this affair. Let's see if we can top last year's attendance.
The Xi Deuteron Chapter, as you may know, would appreciate any assistance we may give
in helping to strengthen the status of fraternities on the C.W.R.U. campus. The under
graduate brothers need our helpl
Reservations are necessary.
Please make your check for dinner and drinks
($5.50) payable to the Cleveland Graduate Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta, and send it with
the attached form to Jim Williams, Treasurer.
If it is more convenient to pay at the
door, please make your reservation by calling Jim or me at 861-5000.
REPORT ON FALL PIGNIC
Thanks to brother Bob Conway the fall picnic was a success. The undergraduates
from C.W.R.U., Ohio University, and other schools outnumbered the graduate brothers
which will represent a challenge to the grads next fall. Brother Bill Reid, Assistant
Treasurer, organized the outing together with brother Conway. Our thanks to both for
a job well done.
Following are those who together with their wives or dates attended the
picnic:

PLANNING FOR THE 1972-73 YEAR
Your chapter officers are beginning to plan for the 1972-73 year. Obviously,
to make the year a success, we must plan activities that our brothers want. On the
attached form we have listed a number of activities which may be of interest to our
members.
Please check those which are of particular interest to you and return the
form to me or bring it with you to the Smoker.
I want to take this opportunity to express my thanks to the officers who
