Homecoming
at the
'CASTLE'
Homecoming *75 has come and gone.
But, one thing's for sure- for those Tdio
Were abl®' to attend, tiie memories will
always be held high.
December, 1975
After the games, eveiyone was in a
great mood and we all returned to the
'Castle' for the happy Hour and Dinner,
Throughout dinner there was much talk ef
the "old and new days".
The concert with Budy Vallee capped
off a great day and with the end of the
concert, there wejre many tired Pijis, All
agreed, before retiring, that Homecoming
'75 'was a total success.
It's great to be a liji!
Thing's were popping fast and fur
ious all weekend with Saturday as a real
test of endurance. Both graduate and \indergraduate brothers were running in aid
out of the 'castle' most of the day. Poor
John, our cpok, was beginning to wonder
if he would be able to get dinner out on
time. Well, it was a little late, but
well worth the wait, John had gone above
himself in preparing our 'Banquet', All
agreed that the layout AND the dinner was
fantastic,
And, of course, there were two foot
ball games on Saturday afternoon. In the
Varsity game Maine lost to New Hampshire,
And for the second straight year the Pijis have kept the record from being ble
mished with a defeat. All 'vdio watched
AND played agreed it was a good time. The
spectators had a special treat before the
Piji-ATO Mud Bowl- a pre-game show con»sisting of the Fiji Little Sisters and
the ATO Little Sisters partaking in a
3rousing 2o minutes of football and fun
ARE TOU READY FOR PIG DINNER?
Eemanber the fun and good times that all
had last year at Pi^ Dinner, Mak& plans
to attend this spring. That's Saturday,
17 April at the 'Castle', More to comei
in the mud.
Don't forget the 128'fch Bicentennial Ekklesia in Washington D,C, Make your plans to go now.
