HAPPY NEW YEAR
As a new year begins your brothers at Utah State send their sincere wishes
that yours will be a happy and prosperous one. We hope that your Christmas
was a joyous one and that you will visit us during '69. Your cards and
Christmas messages were appreciated by the whole chapter. Your continued
loyalty to the chapter is living proof that Phi Gamma Delta is "Not for college
days alone."
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
This month marks the first year of Upsilon Sigma's existence. It has been
a good year for your chapter marked by much success and growth as the result
of hard work and effort.
To celebrate this memorable occassion the Senior
Council, under the direction of Dave Palumbo and Karl Zufelt, has planned an
elaborate ceremony and birthday party for the night of the 18th, Graduates are
invited, of course, to remember our chartering with us.
FIJI HIGHLIGHTS
This quarter will be an exciting one for the Fijis marked by elections of
new officers, Greek Week, Swing Sing, the Section Convention in Albuquerque,
increased rush efforts, Norris Pig Dinner, Tubing Party, and Purple Garter.
Attached is a Winter Quarter Calendar to keep you posted on upcoming events
published by the U.S.U. Student Union under the chairmanship of Fiji, Roy
Irwin.

HOUSECLUB INCREASES
After much debate with Student Housing five pledges were granted per
mission to leave University dorms and move into the house. The lucky ones
were Dean Buhler, Rick Mclnturff, Brad Bell, Jim Mackey, and Hugh Newberry.
Their residence brings the total Houseclub membership up to 17.
