'.^his issue of the Panther Fiji features
Dr. George H. Gray, Jr.,
'44,
Brother Gray who presently resides in Pittsburgh with his wife Marjorie
(his engagement oak was delivered by John D. Sheppard) and five children,
is one of the country's leading neurosurgeons.
In addition to belonging
to numerous Medical organizations, George is currently Chief of Staff
at St. Clair Hospital and Chief of Neurological Divisions at three Pit

Brother Gray earned his white star in 1942, becoming an active undergrad.
He was scholarship chairman instrumental in raising the house

mural sports, on teams that helped Phi Gams retire the All-Point trophy.
Graduating Cum Laude from Pitt in 1944, he entered Pitt Med School. As
la graduate brother, George has served as both chairman and secretary of
the Pi Sigma Board of Trustees and he also was a member of the Pi Sigma
educational
Foundation.
George has had "many pleasant memories of my college days as a Fiji.,
Je still reminisce about the all-nite bull sessions, the bridge marathons,
our '38' games in the pool room, and the wild ping pong sessions." He
readily comments that his closest friends are "the gang from Pi Sigma."
"It was a great era for the Phi Gam when I was in school!" - It still is!
