Fiji's Strive For Excellence
Wombles is a Springfield boy
by the entire pledge class
just before "hell" week
As the new year rolls in, we find a
strongly unified pledge class, the FIJI
78's! They have grown in number
from the original 11 to a hefty 201!
New members to the 78 pledges add
more strength to the backbone of the
class, not to mention new character
and leadership.
The city of Park Ridge sends us two

On December 9th a first was
established at Chi Iota as the first
three generation lineage became
history as Sam Loverige Martin III
joined his father and grandfather as
prestiguous members of Chi Iota. His
father, Sam Martin, Jr., and grand
father, Sam Martin, were in at-
tendnace at the initiation ceremony.
For Yogi (Sam III) his dad and
grandpa being present was a com
plete surprise which added to the
High School, Glen Marconcini and
Keith Pascus. Glen, an excellent
swimmer in high school, is showing
his skills on the FIJI waterpolo team.
Keith is a hockey freak, lettering in
high school, he is expected to make
the mini team next year.
Vern Amacher, a junior
in
Commerce. Dan likes to hunt, mostly
birds.
Greg "Luther" Clark from South
Holland,did just about everything in
high school. An all-round jock, Greg
made the starting lineup in football,
baseball, and basketball. Greg finds
Commerce easy. Greg has a dog
named Spot!
