Grad
Appreciation
Last March, the men of Lambda
Iota held their first annual Graduate
Appreciation Night. With the under
graduate brothers supplying ample
refreshments and the graduate bro1hers furnishing enlightning and of
ten times strangely familiar tales of
their own days here at Phi, a de

The graduate brothers in attendance
comfortably represented a good

PURDUE - FIJI SUPER ALUMNUS
JOE RUDOLPH
When Joe Rudolph was contacted
about the possibility of a feature
story about himself in the "Boiler

that he was aware of many Lambda

than he, and he suggested that we

Joe Rudolph is a Super Alumnus
of Purdue University and of Phi Gam

began with Joe's father who was a
Purdue Fiji. Joe continued the Phi
Gam tradition and served as record

recent Cheney Cup year for Lambda
Iota.
Involvement has been the key for
Joe since his college days. Through

GRAD NEWS KEY TO SUCCESS
In my letter of August 16 I ac
knowledged the fact that this past
few years, the Boilermaker Fiji has
not been effectively presenting grad
uate news to our alumni. It was also
stated that positive steps were being
taken
to
correct this
deficiency
so
you can be accurately informed of
the present activities of your pledge
brothers and Lambda
across the country.

you curious to know what some of
your P. B.'s are up to today? Is it
true that John Templeton McCarty
has quit his job and is now traveling
west? Are James Elliot and Betty

this Spring? Your friends are, no
doubt, just as curious about what
the future had in store for you.
Please don't deprive them of your
