President's Message
There are very few things more
important to a chapter than good
graduate support and communica
tions. Epsilon Lambda is making a
concerted effort to update its graduate
files and in doing so, to bring our
alumni closer to the chapter here at
Michigan State. Everyone's support
is needed to do this.
Being the young chapter that we
are, it is more than necessary to start
now in building our relations. Be
cause of the previous lack of com
munications, few of you know about

The election of a new cabinet nat

one. The chapter thanks Phil Napolitano, Dan Seikaly, Tom Touse, Bill
Allen, and Ray Kreichelt for their year
For this reason, it will take the
support of every alumni and under
graduate and anyone interested in the
chapter here at MSU if we are going
to bring about a favorable solution
to this problem. As soon as plans
are finalized, you will be contacted
and our work will begin.

FIJI CHOIR?
Is it true that Epsilon Lambda is
now blessed with a choir of its own?
Actually, "The Choir" is the name of
a new rock band on the MSU scene.
The group consists of brothers Chuck
Smith, George Soviak, and Dave
Zuehlke who are joined by E.L. grad
uate brother Doug Howlett, Delta
Tau Delta Jim Prucha, and MSU stu
dent Bill Langhorst. In April, "The
Choir" will make its first record, so
let's wish them success.

\r\nEDITORIAL
Although the major purpose of a
chapter publication is news of spe
cial interest to the graduate brothers,
this issue will not publish any because
it cannot. During the past year the
major failure of Epsilon Lambda has
been its lack of communication be
tween the active members and the
alumni. This is a mutual problem
which must be solved.
It is my hope that every alumni re
ceiving this publication will make an
effort to fill out the alumni question
naire and return it to the chapter
house as soon as possible. Our rec
ords of addresses, marriages, etc. must
be updated. The most recent news
of our alumni is the most important
and will be the most meaningful to
the other alumni. Luckily, Epsilon
Lambda is not too old that a new
start cannot be undertaken.
I hope that I will be able to pub
