HOMECOMING 1990
There's always that time of year when the
leaves begin to change, the eight o'clock
class gradually becomes a night class, and
FIJI sweatshirts become everyday attire.
When these conditions occur, you can expect
Homecoming and the Trike Race to be just
around the corner.
This year's trike team is training daily and
looking forward to the race. Four motivated
pledges lead the excitement of "Team FIJI."
They have already shaved "FIJI" on the side
of their heads!
Brother Rex Fleetwood has done a great
job organizing the Homecoming activities,
and his leadership is appreciated.
Everyone at lota Sigma is looking forward
to an exciting Homecoming weekend. Please

PRESIDENT'S REPORT
JAMES TWITCHELL
As my term ends, I must say that lota Sigma has made many strides
forward. We have never backed down from a challenge, nor have we
ever "thrown in the towel." Isee the younger members and believe this
tradition will go on.
Lately, every member of lota Sigma has been active in rushing quality
men for Phi Gamma Delta. Thanks to the great efforts of our rush chair
man, Michael Wiatrowski, who took over the job with great spirit. Good
job, fellas!
A special thanks goes out to all of the graduate bothers who have
JAMES TWITCHELL
donated money toward the house renovation project. It is a great asset
to have such a beautiful house. Thank you, brothers.
Oh, yeah! Let's not forget about those grades in case you were
wondering. All of the brothers have pulled together and raised our ranking
from seventeenth to fifth among fraternities, but we're not stopping there.
We will strive harder to be number one next time.
Finally, I would like to congratulate Jeff Leistner for being elected
as lota Sigma's newest cabinet member. Jeff is currently Correspond
ing Secretary. Good job, "Little L."
I hope to see everyone back for Homecoming. It will be a great time!

HOUSE CORPORATION REPORT
The 20th Anniversary of the lota Sigma Chapter is almost upon us. Thanks to you, the graduate
brothers, an extra amount of spirit and pride has surfaced here at the chapter. The construction at
the 1206 address has been praised by all the brothers, pledges, sororities, friends, and neighbors.
A new breath of fresh air and a bright future has transpired. Only great things can be expected in
the next twenty years.
A big FIJI handshake goes out to the Board of Directors for their tremendous contributions. Brother
Larry Watson '71 deservingly gets the biggest handshake by proving that Phi Gamma Delta is not
for college days alone. Twenty years after graduating, Larry was approved to oversee the project
in terms of specific details. His commitment and sacrifice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you, brothers!
