\r\nHOUSE IMPROVEMENTS
With the addition of 19 new pledges,
the house improvements committees has
really been getting some work done.
During the winter we have, added a
dropped ceiling to the 2nd floor, repaired
the living room ceiling, rewired the
chandelier in the living room, bought
a new freezer and refrigerator and had an
estimate done for a total rewiring of the
house.
The new dropped ceiling on the sec
ond floor has made that hall much more
attractive. It consists of pressed white
tiles with fine looking wood grain track.
The living room has been greatly im
proved by patching, plastering and paint—
ing the ceiling. Also the old wiring for the
chandelier was replaced and the con
ventional switch was replaced by a
dimmer switch.
Under the purchase column, our food
area has been greatly increased by the
addition of a new refrigerator and freezer.
Finally, we had 4 electricians come in
and give us estimates on total rewiring
9
of the house. This has become one of
our first priorities, because the old wiring
is a potential fire hazard.
