PRESIDENT'S LETTER
As Social Chairman for the upcoming year,I would like
to personally invite all of you to come back to the'Bash and
the old Chapter House the weekend of September 12. This
weekend promises to be full of activity. Starting at eleven
o'clock on the twelfth, the Indianapolis Association of
Wabash Men is sponsoring a great event — "Tailgreat'87."
Hamburgers and other sandwiches will be provided, and
you bring whatever else you want. We need Graduates here
in force to help make the greatest tailgate party and then to
help the Cavemen roll over the first home game opponent,
Ohio Wesleyan. Then, after the game, you are all invited
back to the house for after game refreshments and finally, to
With the Fall semester only one week away, the antici

here at Psi Chapter. And 1987 promises to be a good year.
All the Brothers that 1 talked to over the summer expressed
their excitement in coming back to campus to see those
Fijis which they had not seen during the summer.

freshmen to Wabash — the largest class in the history of the
college — almost guaranteeing us around 26 pledges.
Indeed, the Chapter already boasts of ten pledged
freshmen. And this, combined with 50 live-in Brothers, will
give us a full house and a positive attitude in which Psi will

I am pleased to report, also, that last year ended very
successfully for us. The Chapter was very active in the
community, raising hundreds of dollars for several organi
zations. Fijis also took scholarship again, with the highest
G.P.A. on campus for the ninth straight semester. Over 25
percent of the Brothers were placed on the Dean's List. And
thirteen seniors were graduated, with two achieving
distinctions. Congratulations, Brothers!
We at Psi expect to see all of the graduated Brothers
