NEWS STADIIJM UPDATES FROM LAMBDA IOTA OF PHI GAM MA DELTA DECEMBER 14.1987 DEAN OF STUDENTS VISITS 640 RUSSELL Dean Betty Nelson joined the Phi Gams at'^Aheir last Wednesday evening formal dinner of this semester. The formal dinners were guests, created last year to bring campus guests, community and local graduate brothers together with the undergraduates. Graduates have the opportunity to rekindle old memories as they join the brotherhood for a week night dinner. The undergraduates have benefited by getting to know the student leaders in the fraternities, sororities, and residence halls at Purdue. Distinguished guests as Lafayette Mayor, Jim Riehle; Dean of Fraternities, Paul Dewine; and Purdue President, Dr. Steven Beering have been understanding of guests so Phi Gamma that they can gain a better Delta and so that the brothers can become better acquainted with them. PHI GAMS TO JOIN ALPHA GAMMA DELTA FOR U - SING The Ladies of Alpha Gamma Delta have asked the men of Phi Gamma Delta to participate in the 1988 University Sing competition. The event, sponsored by the Purdue Student Union Board, is part of the Moms' Day weekend (April 16 & 17).
