This year's homecoming should be the
best one in recent memory for Chi Iota.
This year's lllini (With Phi Gam Adam
Linger as starting center) are sure to
prove tough competition for Ohio State.
For those of you who have not purchased
them already, tickets can be obtained
from Bill leuter; 2 N. Riverside, Suite
1700, Chicago, IL 60606. And for those
of you who graduated with Bill leuter in
1957, there will be a special twenty-fifth
reunion party.
This year's festivities are less extrava
gant than last year's due to budgetary
limitations, but rest assured there will be
no lack of hospitality or excitement at Chi
lota. The agenda is as follows;
9:00-10:30 BOA meeting, coffee and
donuts
11:00- 1:00 Luncheon (Deli catering)

President's Report
The chapter house is again filled
with excitement and expectations
for the upcoming year. We have a
lot to look forward to at Phi Gams
this year both with the chapter and
the university. As far as the physical
structure of the house is concerned,
it is at its finest. In addition to the
completion of the library, living, and
pool rooms, the kitchen is freshly
quarry tiled. The house is really
looking sharp! The undergraduate
chapter is very proud of what we
live in.

As for the best part of the trip,
Don, Jim and John agree coming

speeds in excess of 55 mph are the
most memorable events. While on

Football Schedule
As you may have already heard, the

ISLAND at Chi

again proved why it is the best party
on campus. With the usual FIJI en

graduate brothers partied well into
the night.
At 11:30 a.m., the brothers—clad
in the traditional FIJI Island garb —
mounted
a
flatbed
truck which
drove around to pick up some of
the prettiest girls on campus. "Pork

brothers and their dates dancing all
day long.

brothers boarded the flatbed truck
and headed to the stadium to watch
the mini stomp the Northwestern
ildcats. After the game, "Contraland" jammed well into the morn
ing as all the beer and punch were
easily consumed. John Sullivan '82
seemed annoyed when he couldn't
find his date. He was even more
upset to learn that Mike "Breezly"
Bruhns 82 had thrown her into the
throw party at 2:00 a.m. in the pool.
