Board of Chapter Advisors, of which he is Chairman. In
1981, he was presented the Citation for Distinguished
and Exceptional Service in appreciation of his contribu

Lambda Nu won the Condon
Cup, for greatest improvement in chapter efficiency, and
the Owen Cup, for greatest improvement in Chapter
scholarship. Lambda Nu finished second in the Jordan
Bowl, for greatest chapter scholarship.
The four delegates who represented Lambda Nu were
Joe Skrodski, lost years president; Curt McConnell, the
current president; Mike Decker, the current treasurer;
and Dan Floen, the current historian. Two other members
of Lambda Nu in attendance were Trustees.

Clark Robertson, lost years historian, was installed as a

good luck in his travels for Phi Gamma Delta.

The brothers were token on a cruise of Toronto

of the brothers sow the Toronto Bluejoys and the Boston
Red Sox ploy at Exhibition Stadium. The night l ife in
Toronto was great also. There were many bars located
within walking distance for the brothers.
Lambda Nu had many proud moments at the Ekklesia
in Toronto.
It was the culmination of a lot of hard work
at the chapter house here in Lincoln. At this time we
would l ike to invite our graduate brothers down to the
house to look at the awards we have on display and to
meet the brothers. Hopefully, we wi l l have more
awards to pick up at the next Ekklesia, to be held in

Graduate Brather Bob Beckman had a graduate-under
graduate kegger for the Nebraska-Auburn footbal l
gome, at his cabin near Lincoln. After the gome, the
graduates destroyed the undergraduates in a footbal l
gome of their own. After this gome, a bonfire was built
and some of the more popular Phi Gam songs were
sung. Brother Beckman plans to moke this an annual
event and would l ike for available graduate brothers to
attend next year.

After a Fifth Place finish during the '81-'82 school year,
Phi Gamma Delta is very excited about the '82-'83 school
year. The intramural committee set a goal of finishing
in First Place in the All-University Standings. We believe
with the talented upper classmen and the strong pledge
class, this goal is definitely achievable.
